In our lessons we focus on learning proper technique, theory, aural and sight reading skills in addition to learning a wide variety of piano repertoire. We incorporate technology in our "off bench" activities and have many performance and evaluation opportunities throughout the year. The type and length of lessons vary depending on the needs of the student. Please contact me for a consultation.

Harp Ensemble
Can you have too many harps?
You don't have to be a student to participate in the harp ensemble, harpists of all ages and abilities come together to enjoy playing together. We try to perform periodically, especially during the holidays. Contact me for more information or to schedule a performance.
Consider live music for your next special event. I play for weddings, funerals, luncheons, holiday events, private parties and church services. I have experience accompanying soloists as well as large ensembles. Contact me if you would like more information or to set up a consultation.
ABOUT ME
I don’t remember a time in my life that doesn’t include some kind of music. I started my first formal lessons on piano when I was in first grade. Since then, I have played a variety of instruments and enjoyed opportunities to perform as a soloist, accompanist, ensemble member and occasionally, a director. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Music from Brigham Young University and I have been performing, accompanying and teaching for over 30 years.
In addition to running my private studio, I enjoy accompanying a studio class at CSU Bakersfield. I serve on the executive board of the Kern Branch Music Teachers’ Association and accompany various community and church services. I also coordinate a harp ensemble with my private students and other harpist in the community. When time permits, I enjoy playing for weddings and special events.
I am the proud mother of four wonderful and musical children and the wife of my biggest fan and supporter. I feel fortunate to be able to do what I love every day and share the joy of music with others.
